I had a great time at this hotel! The rooms were spacious and included kitchen facilities, making it convenient for a relaxing stay. The service was top-notch, with the staff being accommodating and swiftly taking care of everything. The location was fantastic, close to all shops and restaurants, and the facilities were excellent.

The rooms were in great shape and the extra-large spa bath with its own doors in the bedroom was a unique touch that added to the relaxing experience.

The hotel is quite spacious but in need of some upgrades, particularly in the bathroom and kitchen areas. The rooms are well set up for work, with a small table that can double as an office, but the kitchen supplies are limited for more than 2 people. The service was accommodating and cheerful, but the keys only worked for the designated floor. The location is convenient, with easy access to motorways and close to attractions like Eden Park and shopping districts. However, dining options were underwhelming and service during breakfast was slow. Overall, a decent stay with room for improvement.

I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the check-in and out process was quick. The view over the park was lovely, and the inclusion of linen and towels made it feel like a home away from home. While the condition of the room was satisfactory, having a washing machine in a cupboard was a convenient surprise.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms had a nice view over the park and were in satisfactory condition, with the bonus of a washing machine in a cupboard.
Service
9.0
The service here was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond, organizing another room for me due to illness, and they were very lovely and caring throughout my stay. The initiative taken to set up a roller bed personally was truly appreciated.
Location
7.0
The location of the hotel was really good, especially being close to Eden Park and within easy reach of K Road and Town Hall. While the hotel could benefit from some refurbishments and happier staff, the proximity to key attractions and facilities made up for it.
Dining
6.0
The dining experience was satisfactory with complete but basic options available. Although there were some shortcomings during breakfast service, overall, the eclectic British dishes served were enjoyable.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel had decent facilities overall. However, improvements could be made, such as providing a changing area and ensuring better upkeep of pool loungers and other amenities.

6.0/10

My stay at the hotel was pleasant overall, but I have some mixed feelings. The rooms were comfortable but starting to show signs of wear and the floor had a noticeable smell of smoke. The connection to an outdoor area with electrical tape that didn't work was concerning. I'm unsure if I would choose to stay here again.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were pleasant but starting to look worn. I noticed scuff marks on the entrance door and cracks in some tiles. The kitchen utensils were also in need of an upgrade.
Service
5.0
The service wasn't rude, but I felt there was a lack of emphasis and empowerment to address any issues. I didn't find the staff particularly welcoming or helpful during my stay.
Location
8.0
The location of the hotel was good, not far from Queen Street and a reasonable walk to the harbor. It was convenient for exploring the city and accessing public transportation.
Dining
5.0
The dining options were limited, and I was disappointed that they only served pork, which wasn't suitable for me. The price for the dining experience seemed a bit high for the choices available.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities at the hotel were average, without any standout amenities or features. There was nothing particularly remarkable about the facilities during my stay.

The hotel was excellent value for money and had an excellent view of the Sky Tower, well worth waking up early to catch it as the sun rises. The room included a kitchenette with a small dishwasher, washing machine, and balcony. However, it was very hot, and a heat pump would have been great.

Rooms

The hotel is conveniently located near stores and eateries, overlooking a park with a quiet ambiance. The rooms may need refurbishment but offer adequate space for two people. The service was welcoming and accommodating, with a slight inconvenience of paying extra for parking. The dining experience was considered poor with limited selection and not the best value. The location is ideal for its proximity to amenities but may require a walk uphill if arriving by sky bus.

Rooms

The hotel has a balcony with a rare great view of the city and Sky Tower, but some room elements are in need of maintenance. The service, although lovely, seemed under pressure during busy times. The location is excellent, close to CBD shops and New Year's Eve festivities, but the dining options were a bit on the pricey side.

Rooms
